The Camberley Society is the only non-political group that represents all those who would like Camberley to be a splendid place in which to live, shop and play, but who also believe that the town falls short of what we should like it to be.

In this website, you will find information about the types of issues with which this society gets involved and how it operates. Also, although the society has a serious purpose, we have a lighter aspect, so we have included an outline of some of our social activities.

If you like what you read about us, you will also find information about membership of the society and how to join us.  The society warmly welcomes new members;  not only because the larger our membership the more credibly we can represent the residents of Camberley, but also because we need people who want to take part in influencing life in and around the town.

Finally, for general interest, we have provided a brief history of Camberley. In the past, local residents were more involved in shaping the character of the town than they are now. In that respect, the society is turning back the clock and giving residents - young and old - a louder voice in shaping the future than they have had for many years.
